Poor character writting by author it's clear he isn't the strongest wizard alive still author tried his utmost best to make him like shanks who shows up on like countable occasions but Mr author forgot that gildarts is a member of their guild so he has to be present in these times like where the hll is he when face was goin to activate or the dragon King festival or this one like each time the threat can wipe out everything if only plot armor wasn't taken to consideration ,in short poor character writting and waste of a potentially good char
